In collaboration with Somali Peace Line, Somali Child Right Coalition conducted two days -Advocacy Meeting to Support CSOs Engagement with Government to adopt and Implement specific recommendations of the CRC Committee Concluding Observations. The meeting was held in Mogadishu Somalia between 14th and 15th December 2022 and attracted different representatives from civil society organizations working on child rights and child protection. The core objective of this workshop was to bring together the ideas of advocacy on child protection and child rights as well as highlighting the need for government to adopt the recommendations of CRC Committee and the need to advocate for governmental and non-governmental – to provide collective prevention to child protection and promoting the rights-based approach.
