Somali Child Rights Coalition (SCRC) has conducted two-day stakeholders meeting for Coalition members on discussions for the acceleration of the ratification of African Charter on the Rights and Welfare of the Child (ACRWC) and follow up on UNCRC implementations which was held on 18th – 19th December 2024. The main objective of this meeting is to bring multi-stakeholders to promote discussions on how coalition members and other civil society groups can pressure the federal government to adopt and ratify the African Charter on the Rights and Welfare of the Child (ACRWC). The meeting also aims to develop a follow up action plan to monitor the implementation of the UNCRC recommendations.
