3 Days Training for Media Professionals and Journalists to Strengthen Reporting on Child Rights Violations, Report the situation of child rights and governance in Somalia.
Somali Child Rights Coalition has concluded a three days training for media professionals and journalists to strengthen reporting on child rights violations, report the situation of child rights and governance in Somalia. The training which took place at Hayat hotel in Mogadishu brought together 50 participants of whom 28 were female from the different media groups including private and public media institutions. The overall objective of this training is to promote and support media groups and journalists become more responsive and to encourage debate within media about the portrayal of children and their rights. The event also aims to help media and journalists learn and identify existing child rights violations and report the situation of child rights and governance in Somalia.
