Somali Child Right Coalition Secretariat Team and Members of the Coalition attended two days awareness raising workshop on promoting of the principles of partnership in humanitarian programing. The workshop was held attended participants from local and international non-governmental organizations  working in Somalia.  The main objective of training workshop was  to  promote  the implementation of  the principles of partnership in humanitarian programming and creating a dialogue between all actors (Donors, INGO, LNGO) with regards to the quality of funding for local and national actors with coordination of localization working so as to curb the challenges or constraints in localization.

On the conclusion of the workshop, the key stakeholders had a constructive discussion on promoting the concept of localization, quality funding and principles of partnership in humanitarian programing and emphasized the need to put pressure on the donors to implement their commitment on grand bargain including a target to increase the proportion of funding going to local and national responders to 25 per cent by 2020.
